A Way To Make It Work

Optimism may significantly influence mental and physical well-being by the promotion of a healthy lifestyle as well as by adaptive behaviours and cognitive responses, associated with greater flexibility, problem-solving capacity and a more efficient elaboration of negative information.”

What always gives me courage is knowing how adaptive we as humans can be, no matter what decisions we take or where we go in life, we always find a way to make it work.

We can find new people to bring into our lives, new experiences to share, and new love to express, or have.

You Are Not Alone

Some of my family and friends have lived with the struggles that BiPolar Disorder brings. Treat this with the seriousness it deserves.

I am 24 years old and the past two years have been the hardest of my life. Two years ago I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was in the scariest depressive episode of my life when I had several times I came close to killing myself. If you suffer from depression, or any mental illness, you are not alone. Please seek help, I did and with a lot of hard work & support, I feel I am finally making progress with my health.

You are not weak, as I thought I was, but incredibly strong & resilient because of this. Get through this, & you won’t look back.
